We have a Russian Blue cat named Lucy. She constantly tries to get to the highest point in the room. As we made changes to our house and removed certain pieces of furniture it removed the jump points she used to get up to the ceiling. Feeling bad that we took her ability to climb up to the ceiling; we decided to build her a house she could climb up to and rest.
Spent a bit of time online looking at ideas and came across one on Etsy that looked similar. Seller wanted $200.00 for it, thought surely I could do it cheaper. (Spoiler: I was wrong)
I started by drawing out rough house shape on scrap pieces of plywood. Cut out with jigsaw, sanded my edges smooth and then rounded over the corners.
